These are green tea flavored Oreos, a very popular flavor in China for anything from crackers to ice cream. It's not good.
We got our schedules today! We have 15 hours a week of Chinese class. Schedules here aren’t like schedules in American colleges where it’s certain classes the same time every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, or Tuesday and Thursday. Here seems more chaotic: I have class at 8 Tuesdays through Fridays, class 10:00 Monday, Wednesday through Friday, and 1:00 Monday and Wednesday. We had quite a time trying to find time for our business and literature classes and internships. Luckily mine worked out smoothly, but Kelsey can’t take the literature class anymore because she has Chinese class at that time. We finally figured it out, and Miss Li gave me the task of making a spreadsheet with everyone’s schedules for her. Looking at the schedule, everyone’s going to be really busy. This will be nothing like college in America with so much down time. Many of us are going back and forth from class to internships back to class from morning until 6 o’clock. I hope I can keep up with everything.
There’s not much going on tonight. I don’t feel like doing much so tonight’s for relaxing. Tomorrow we’re making moon cakes with our pen pals to celebrate Mid Autumn Festival. I might take a rent-a-bike to explore more of West Lake, maybe meet my pen pal for lunch. We’ll see what happens!
