Rice terraces, Longji, China
After a BIG breakfast in preparartion for the day ahead, our group set off on a five hour trek to check out the countryside & visit a nearby Yao Village. I think most of the walk was spent with eyes down, watching my step because the path was handbuilt from large rocks & was very uneven & slippery - especially when it began raining.
Tuckered out from the long walk, I forced myself back up the hill to access the internet after lunch, then headed back to the guesthouse for another well earned massage. After deciding to make this my 'Massage Journey' by having a massage in every country & neglecting to have one in Vietnam, I figure the second one in Longji makes up for it. At least that's my theory & I'm sticking to it...
