Summary: The Peking Man site at Zhoukoudian is a World Heritage Site. It lies about 45 km Southwest of the capital Beijing in a beautiful natural surrounding. In 1920 scientific workers found the first remains of Sinanthropus pekinensis, who lived in the Middle Pleistocene, along with various objects, and remains of Homo sapiens dating far back as 18.000 - 11.000 B.C. Ha Ien en aad. Ja kijk daar waren onze voorvaderen duidelijk zichtbaar. Mooi hoor dat jullie dit in China hebben kunnen zien. Het lijkt er in ieder geval op dat men daar er meer van maakt dan in ederland met onze veenlijken. En jullie taxichauffeur, wat een luxe hé. Wellicht ook iets voor in Roden. Of is het NU juist leuk en anders waarschijnlijk niet meer. Hartelijke groeten, H + S
