All Aboard
The rickety old ski lift that got us to the Great Wall. Scary shit!

What a Wall
You can't help but be impressed with the sheer scale of the Great Wall. And it really does snake across the mountains just like all the pictures you've sen of it. Wow!

Glynn Does His Thing
Yes, the master poser is back and this time he's walking the wall :-)

Great Bear on the Great Wall
Glynn's not the only one climbing the wall - here's Jish having a well-earned break.

That's right, more cheese in this photo than an entire Wallace and Gromit movie!

The terrain was not as easy going as we expected it to be.

The walls were a bit wonky in places but Jude does her bit to help out.

Told you these steps were steep!

None Shall Pass
The sign said not to go past on to the unrestored bit of the wall. Did we take a blind bit of notice? No way! (and yes it was well worth the risk)

Big Wall, Tiny Jude
That pinprick in front of the tower at the top of the steps is Jude. Now you can see just how many steps there were!

Over the Hills and Far Away
Just how did they manage to build this wall that literally goes on for hundreds and hundres of miles like this? Incredible.
