Actually, we walked/hiked/climbed up it. No driving allowed.
Yesterday was another wonderful day as we visited the Great Wall of China and the Beijing Olympic Center (you know, the crazy modern 'bird's nest' Olympic Stadium), and the Chinese Acrobatic Theatre. Epic day! Everyone slept well after all that!
Shannon and I both couldn't believe were hiking on the Great Wall of China with our kids! Life is crazy that way. Both Emma and Joshua did GREAT, making it all the way to the local peak of the Wall (where that section dead-ends). I'd estimate the climb was about 2000 vertical feet.
Little technical blog scare this morning as I couldn't get the blog up overnight and feared we'd be been taken down by Big Brother but seems like it was an issue with the servers on the U.S. side thankfully!
We grow excited to finally finally meet little Julia tomorrow. Today we ship out early for Zhengzhou by plane. It's only a 1 hr flight. We'll see what domestic flights are like within China. We'll keep you all posted.

It is such a treat to see one of my favorite families when I hope to walk one day. So excited that you get to hold your precious one soon!
