Beijing Day1

Hi All

Boom Boom!! We have arrived in Beijing safe and sound. Weather is lovely about 30'C, sun splitting the sky.

We arrived about 10.30 Chinese time.

We are staying in a nice little courtyard hotel, it is within walking distance from the shopping precinct, Forbidden City and Tian'anmen Square.

We went for a walk to the top tourist destination this morning and took some pics - awesome. Will go back tomorrow and visit them for real or go to Great Wall of China (guy in hotel has a great deal for us, apparently).

Check in tomorrow for next instalment, hopefully will be able to get the hang of this blog stuff.
