Skiing under the Great Wall

We went skiing together at a ski resort that is literally next to the Great Wall, as you can see. I imagine if someone asked a child or a cartoonist to draw their idea of skiing in China, it would probably feature the Great Wall in the background, so I still can't get over how stereotypical but amazing-looking this place is. I also can't get over how many people there were plummeting down the black slope completely out of control in jeans or frilly skirts, heading straight for us if we ever dared to stop to admire that view.
