Day 2 Update

Day 2 Battambong to Krakor. 163 km. Saddle time 6hrs 49 mins. Total time 10hrs 36 min. Avg Temp 34 deg

Today we visited a Tabitha School. Cycled 14km down a clay / dirt road, and 14km back. But to see the kids all turned out in their uniform (since 7am) waiting for us to arrive was very humbling. Tabitha built that school to educate almost 1000 children. It was a horrible 14km cycle in against the wind, on dirt roads, and some of the kids do that daily just to go to school.

Highlights include : School visit, a wonderful picnic lunch made by Team Jet (Jill and Det), amazing Cambodian scenery, the refreshing thunderstorm to wash away the dirt from the school road,and, of course, the team camaraderie.
