Today was a better day but we had lost a day and the time budget was tighter! We went to breakfast and booked the next part of our trip, Vietnam, which was via boat!
We caught a tuk tuk to Choeung Ek to see the killing field from the khymer rouge. It was a very interesting day despite the fact it was all a little morbid. The building of bones alone can send shivers down your spine. Such barbarism seems like the stone age but is so close to home it is scary.
After a chill out in the hotel for an hour we got ready then went for some tapas for tea in a fancy place right next to the river.
