17th July.

Today Preuk picked us up and drove us to the 'Cambodian Cultural Village'. The site encompassed a museum of Cambodian wax figures and miniature villages as well as full scale traditional buildings built in different Cambodian styles. Throughout the day we watched a traditional wedding ceremony, Apsara dance show and a Chinese dance performance which included acrobats and performers on stilts.

In the evening we went out for dinner along 'The Alley' then relaxed in hammocs waiting for an over night bus to Sihanoukville. The bus arrived at 8pm and instead of seats there were rows of doublebed bunkbeds!! The long journey was actually quite comfortable although the driving resembled that of the Night Bus in Harry Potter! It was best to keep our eyes shut than be aware of the swaying motions and the speed the bus was doing!
