Tomb Raider

Yes Angelina and Brad oops PJ and Mike sorry
Got your attention - no it is PJ not Angelina. Anyway we were up early again this morning and off to see some more temples in Siem Reap. We went to Angkor Thom which has a number of temples within its city walls. One of which is called Ta Prohn which was the temple used by Angelina Jolie in the Tomb Raider - it has now been renamed as Angelina Jolie's temple - think this says it all. However, we did join the throngs of Koreans trying to jostle for a picture so bit of pot, kettle black or what! In fact, there are huge numbers of tourists at all the temples - and this isn't even high season. Can't imagine the free for all will be allowed for ever - damage is being done by the tourists every day to the structures that have lasted for so many hundreds of years.

So after a spate of temples and another filling lunch went back to the hotel to go for a swim and a rest before off for a Cambodian Massage and a dinner with a cultural dance show.

Well number one the massage. We arrived and thought what the hell is going on here and suddenly we were ushered into a room with many beds and we decided that couples massage was the order of the day - best keep in numbers when out numbered by all the staff.

We then had to change into shorts and t-shirts and waited until 2 young ladies entered - Mike was in his element. We were then told to lay on our backs and all I can say is, let the games begin. We had our legs pushed above our heads we had our feet punched, then had our arms - just don't ask me where these were put as by now I did not know my head from my toes.

Anyway to be honest it was great - would I say relaxing like at home, NO, but it was great and different.

So we get back into our AC car and within 2 hops and a jump we were where we were going for dinner with the cultural show - we could have walked or flown especially after that massage!

It was a buffet all you can eat - but I do not like buffets but it was ok to be honest. The show was good - remember it is for tourists and what am I a tourist - got to keep remembering this.

Back at hotel now and having problems with the new wifi system errrrrrr. So some whippersnapper decides that the old codger (me) does not know what she is doing and takes my MacAir and gets wifi - but will it work tomorrow not if it is me having to connect - why do young kids just take things off you press a couple of buttons and it works but when you get back on again you are in the same position you were before they did so errrr
