Anual WCA Track Meet

WCA’s track season lasts a total of one day, December 16, a national holiday. With no sign of a formal track in Chittagong, Mr. Belaisov (athletic director) has arranged for a track meet to be held at a local flour factory where the workers are all off for the holiday. Winter is the ideal time of year to ensure that kids don’t pass out in the heat. I was asked to take photos of the event and managed to encourage the kids and watch them compete. All in all, the meet was a great success as the kids got to hang out and compete with each other.
