Dhaka, Bangladesh Day 2

We have a long, but exciting day ahead of us! Today is officially Victory Day in Bangladesh, which means we'll spend the whole day under the harsh, beating sun. After we had breakfast at the hotel we biked to the parade ground, where we spent almost 3 hours at. Today we had the hottest day of the season, which means 85-degree weather. When we were packing for Dhaka, I wasn't sure what to bring, but to everyone reading this blog, please pack light clothes! Light clothes help you not succumb to heat stroke, which is a serious issue here. After going to the parade we were able to go to a local mosque, the Baitul Mukarram National Mosque, which was our last activity today before dinner.
