Had to buy some photo software to edit the LAV because of some of the goodies on it. It's been high 20's during the day and close to freezing some nights.
Hello All,

We kind of left this site hanging once we hit further south. Then one day lead to the next, and here I am in Kandahar again.

My Dad and brother are all back home safe and sound.

A quick summary from the last blog. We all made it to Panama, and actually took a couple of days off. We met some great people down there who helped us around the city and then left North. We were determined to take a different route home, and that we did. Some of the roads were truly in the remote sections of Honduras and Nicaragua. We hired a boat to take us up a river, and found ourselves in tiny jungle villages, on trail/dirt roads, 12000 ft mountains, backroads, and in towns and places I can't even remember the names of.

*Brad, if you read this, you have all the pictures, so post some of them and make back ups!*

We made it to Mexico and it felt like we were home. Then we split, I had to be back for duty and time was running short, Brad wanted to take his time and hit some of

Local market guy and me. Ryan Perry and I went to the market on our day off for a little shopping, they've banned selling alot of the old weapons now, it's getting a little more commercial then the last time I was here
the hot spots on the way home in Mexico.

I rode day and night from Mexico and rode right into my unit to sign my papers. My Dad wasn't far behind and Brad never showed up for at least 2 weeks after. We all had bike issues, mine was headlights, battery, poor idling etc but had some great help from an American in Oregon who really went beyond the call of duty that night.

The other two had some pretty serious fires.

Made it back, DAG'd for Afghanistan in 2 weeks and hopped on a plane to Germany, then a country in the Middle East, then into Afghanistan.

If all goes well I'll be home by Christmas day, I've spent one here already and that was enough!

Hope everyone is well and healthy,

Blane E. Reynolds
