Ive only been to Zambia once. I crossed at Victoria Falls check point, and went over to Livingstone. Watch your belongings keep it close by. The people of Zambia are amazing though, very helpful and friendly. The prices are very affordable but be sure to haggle with the local prices. The crossing at Victoria Falls is very easy and you can obtain your visa at the crossing for about usd $25 depends which border agent you get that day! There are lots of handicraft sales on the road leading to Livingstone be sure to pick up some of the Zambezi Teak wood pieces shaped into small animals and other shapes. Ive attached some photos.
