Hi you,
I really enjoyed writing in german for two times but because Joeri haven't got so much time to translate i decided to switch back to english. (I or Joeri will translate the german stories as soon as possible).
Today I wasen't in "my hospital".Peter, Joeri and me went with a friend of us, called Lilian, to the biggest hospital from Uganda. The Mulago hospital ("The last king from Scotland" you really have to see this movie about an scotish doctor working as a privat doctor of Idi Amin. Funny and interesting but also very hart movie). First we bought some toys and fruits for the kids and than we visited them in a special part for kids with cancer. I made a few pictures, I'll sent you them, you will be shocked. It was so good to spent our time with them, playing with them giving them fruits and talking to their parents. We saw children with big stomachs, heads and other things, some of them could walk and smile some were lying in their "beds" (there wasn't enough space for all of them. Some of them had a kind of a matras under a rooth, that's all!One of the kids died juring our visit...
Hart and bad experience we made....
(Can't go to the Ssese-Island, no spaces in hotels any more. We'll look after a possibility to go to the Mount Elgon to make a climbtour for a few days)We'll see
Nice and blessed day
Joeri and Nina
