Going Global

I left Chicago heading west in the beginning of April '07 and continued going west until March 1st, 2008 when I returned to Chicago having confirmed that the world is indeed round. The stops along the way - Fiji, New Zealand, Australia, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, Laos, Nepal, India, and Tanzania. They're generally solitary animals, so we never saw more than one at once.

Kirk's Dik-Dik

This was one of the more ridiculous animals we saw. It was like a mini-deer...sorta... Smallest member of the antelope family.

We saw giraffes and hippos near this sign. So unless you're looking to be snapped in two by a hippo, you should obey.
