Unbelievable. Our last day in Tanzania! I think everyone except me is really eager to get home. If it were up to me, we would stay another 2 weeks! At least!
But today we had to get packed up. We left a lot of our clothes over there, so we didn't have to pack near as much going home.
We also went to the market, Mafia Alley. I'm not sure if everyone enjoyed it, but Lauren and I did. It was fun bartering with the people, who try to sell stuff for double since you're a tourist. It didn't work! :-)We also went to Saif's. It's a pretty expensive shop.
We ate supper with all the missionary families before we had to catch our plane, which left at 9:40 pm. It made a stop in Dar es Salaam, then to on to Amsterdam, then to Detroit on Saturday, then back to Okahoma, where there was a foot of snow!!
We tried counting how many people we studied with; after the first day, when we studied with at least 50, we stopped. We estimate we had in between 400-500 people study the Bible. In 2 weeks! Fantastic!
Two weeks is a short time, but when you study with that many people, it seems like we left a--small--footprint in that community!

I just had to take a picture of this--it was actually in John Wayne's 'Hatari'! We watched that after we got back from TZ--pretty good!
