I went to Mississippi a few years back with my Mom and 3 sisters to a quilt show sponsored by Saint Jude Children's Hospital. There were 1000's of quilts and they displayed them by laying them over the seats in the basketball arena at a local college. Here is our Quilt of Dreams display!!

Finally .. the time came when we piled into the car and took our work to some folks who need them terribly!!

Years from now, hopefully these quilts will be warming someone's child. And this signature may be what leads them to a better life.

These babies were abandoned, they are well cared for, well fed and have medical treatment, but not many things can take the place of being held, caressed, and loved.

I am speechless by this story. How precious are all the hands that worked this wonder. And how amazing the delight must be to give them to sweet babies. May God continue to bless this wonderful work.

Shasta, Such a delightful work and to see the beautiful creations that these wonderful ladies have done. What an accomplishment!!!! And for so many loving babies!!!! If I had only known...I am the Queen of purchasing fabric with good intentions and never completing the task! You are such a treasure to teach them and love every second of it. I'm struggling home schooling 2 and you had a room full of all ages...I'll remember you the next time 2 seems like more than I can do. :)
