The New Itinerary



July 3rd - St Maarten
Leaving St Maarten on Corsair flight SS868 at 2:35pm
8 Hours flighing time


July 4th - Paris
Arrival in Paris France at 8am local time.
FREE DAY
Night at the Hibis Hotel


July 5th - Johanesburg
10 am AF flight to Johanesburg
10 1/2 Hours flighing time
We go up north to come back southward. Would it not be simpler to offer a flight from our region?

Arrival in Johanesburg for the 1st group of 30 pax
We'll be bussed to The Zulu Nyala Country Manor **** hotel


July 6th - Johanesburg/Pretoria
Breakfast at the hotel
Departure for Soweto: visit of Mandela Museum, Hector Pieterson Museum, Regina Mundi Church etc...
Traditional 'Shebeen' lunch at Wandies Place
Leave for Pretoria:
Visit of Kruger House
Diner at Le Carnivore restaurant
Accomodations The Zulu Nyala Country Manor **** hotel


July 7th - Ohrigstad
After breakfast we head out to Mpumalanga. On the way we will visit the old diamond mining city of Cullinan.
Then on to Pilgrim's rest the oldest diamond city of South Africa
Lunch at THE VINE
Accomodations and diner at The Hannah Lodge *** hotel


July 8th - Hoedspruit
After breakfast we head out to Blyde River Canyon the largest green canyon of the world.
We'll stop at 'God's Window' and Bourke's Luck Potholes
the go on safari (on the bus) at the Kruger National Park, with hopes to see the big five: Elephant, rhinoceros, buffalo, lion and leopard. :-)
Lunch at the Skukuza camp
Dinner and accomodations at Nkambeni Tented Lodge *** hotel on the outskirts of the Kruger park


July 9th - Swaziland
We rise early this day and have the oprion of the 4x4 safari or the walkabout safari (not included in price)
hmmm which one will i do? depends on which offer the best up close wild animal experience :-)
Then we lunch at the Umhloti Lodge a natural reserve and chimpanzee reserve set up by the famous Jane Goodall. We will visit the chimpanzee sanctuary. How fun!!! hope i get close to a chimp!

Then of the the little kingdom of Swaziland, the 2nd smalest of Africa and one of only 3 African Monarchies.
We will visit the Ngwenya Glass factory where we will see the glass blowers in action.
We will visit the Mantenga Craft Center as well.

Then on to the Lugogo Sun *** hotel
for dinner and accomodations for the night.


July 10th - HluhLuwe
After breakfast we will continue our treck thru Swaziland stoping in the Malkerns valeey to visit an old farm that be reconverted into a candle factory.
We will then head out to Hluhluwe in the afternoon where we will do a 4x4 safari in the HluhLuwe-Imfolozi parc in the heart of Zoulouland. This parc works to save the white Rhino
We will end our day at the Zulu Nyala Heritage Sarafi Lodge where we will meet the zulu dancers who will entertain us during our dinner.


July 11th - Santa Lucia & Durban
After breakfast we will head out in the direction of the Greater St Lucia Wetland Parc, one of the only places in the world to have 5 ecosystems and has just been recognized by UNESCO. Here we'll see hippos and crocodiles :-)
We will cruise the St Lucia Lake where we will lunch while admiring the flora and fauna.
Then we head out to Durban known for it's indian influences and beautiful beaches. We will visit the city before heading to the hotel to freshen up for dinner.
We will dinne at the Ushaka Marine World at the Phantom Ship restaurant, which offer a magnifiscent view of the huge aquarium.

July 12th - Durban
Breakfast at the hotel
Free day to explore the city of Durban
Dinner and accomodations at Sica's Guest House


July 13th - Durban - Cape
Breakfast at the hotel
Free morning in Durban
Then on to the airport for our flight to the Cape, the afternoon will be spent discovering the city
We will Dinne with members of the A.N.C. (Nelson Mandela's Political party) at the Gold Museum


July 14th - Cape
After breakfast we will take the road the peninsula and go out to Cape Point one of the most beautiful places in the world. Weather permitting we will take the boat out to sea lion island and then penguin beach. sea lionns and penguins oh my! :-)
After Lunch at Bretha we will visit the Bonne Esperance natural reserve at Cape Point
We will Dinne at the Top of the Ritz
Accomodations at the Garden Court de Waal


July 15th - Cape
Breakfast at the hotel then weather permitting we will cruise out to Robben Island, Historical Monument since 1995 to visit the Jail where Nelson Mandela was emprisoned.
At the end of the day we will be taken to the airport for our flight to France Via Johannesburg.


July 16th - Paris
Arrival in Pais at 10:30am
Free day
Night at the Hibis Hotel


July 17th - Paris
11 am Corsair flight #SS865 to SXM
Landing at 1:35pm local time


So there you have it. It should be fun!
