The crocodiles were too lazy to bother jumping for the meat the keeper was trying to tempt them with, so this "exciting" part of our visit to the Cango Wildlife Farm was anything but.

The Cango Wildlife Ranch is so successful at breeding cheetahs that they are able to swap cheetahs to get other animals, like these rare lions.

Not that you can see them on the rare white tiger in this photo.

This grand dame was 18 years old, which is old for a jaguar. She's earnt the right to be a bit lazy!

One of our highlights. For a small donation, we got to play with the cheetahs. They had the loudest purrs we've ever heard. Nice kitty.

This one was a bit of poser, really working the camera while we were there.

One of our favourite discoveries on the Garden Route were these almost treehouses a 20 minute drive from Knysna.

We took our showers while watching the sun set over the treetops. The ingenious toilet was a non-flushing, self-composting jobbie. Very eco-friendly establishment.

The owner kindly gave us food from her own fridge to cook when we turned up on the spur of the moment without any supplies.

Some of the huts even had victorian baths! We loved the antique furniture, the big beds and their attention to detail.

One of the weirdest things we saw on holiday. Unnerved us every time we went past it near our treehouse. Reminded us of the Hypno-toad from Futurama.

The worlds first free roaming multi-specie primate sanctuary. There are 3 capuchin monkeys on the feeding table behind Bronson, and a yellow squirrel monkey underneath (the table, not Bronson).

He was rather shy, so we were very fortunate to see him.

Our monotoned guide managed to finish every other sentence with, "Mmmmmm... Nice..." or "Mmmmmm... Beautiful...". It has become one of our favourite phrases when we see anything nice or beautiful.

They're that big?
You can RIDE Ostriches? I thought that was only possible in cartoons? And baby Meercats! Meercats are cool. Looks like you've had quite an adventure!
