Day 5 (Saturday 25-Apr-09, JRJ & NJJ)

What a shit day, weather-wise! Horrendous sound of rain on roof of hostel this morning. @ 6am we heard the call to prayer from a nearby Mosque. 7am clock tower bell ringing time. 7.30am alarm went off. Checked out, dropped bags off @ Bellevue Manor Guest House. Car back to hire place by 9am. Walked around in the rain for bit, stopped at 'Mozart' cafe for omelette brekkie (Nat - bacon, avo & brie?!?). Back out into the shitty weather. Sat in info' centre from 10.30am until 1pm and updated blog!!!

Got taxi to Guest House. The guy who we shared the taxi with (they do that over here) comes from Llanbradach (the next town from Nat's mams), although he's been over here for about 15 years. Still pissing down so waited in the hotel room for 3 hours until about 5pm when we had our tour meeting. Meeting was pretty boring but got to see the odd bods who we would be sharing life with for the next 3 weeks. Got our first dose of Will (the driver) who is exactly like Will Ferrell, both in appearance and humour. I'm sure he'll keep us entertained on our trip.

Left the meeting around 7pm then we took a stroll down the road to Cattle Baron's (again) and had delicious surf and turf, then turned in for the night.
