Leaving Cape Town

- Weather is changing here for the worse - very misty and heavy rain when we left the hotel. Picked up the hire car at Cape Town Airport - first experience of driving on South African roads went extremely well, considering the rental company gave us a luminous green Nissan Tiida. We drove through a small bit of the Cape Winelands and also through Elgin, which I just had to see to compare it to the one back home. Arrived in Swellendam in the Langeberg Mountains in one piece. Staying here for two nights in a very luxurious cottage in an old estate just outside of the village
