Day 8

Today we visited a pre school creche supported by G Adventures...an absolute delight being sung to by 40 wee 3-5 year old charmers. We had great chats with the teachers...future volunteer opp...hmmmmm! Then off to Polokwene Safari Park ... after a shop at the local mall.... the mall stores in Africa are so much cooler than "ours?"!.....Toys R US is huge as is Beaver Canoe.....supermarkets are amazing....and the campsites so far....bathtubs in the huge and beautifully kept bathrooms plus dryer racks for your clothes etc etc.....impressive as are the Petrol Stops...have never seen such gorgeous gas station bathrooms! Went on a hike looking for white rhinos, no luck with them, but saw a lot of other 4 legged mamalas - in cluding a Caped Buffallo snorting and pawing the dirt at us. Tonight, pasta dinner and we introduced Smores to the group Americans. Tomorrow we cross into Botswana and lots of fun to come....so far we are loving it all! Miss you all lots!
