Today we spending our last day at the Oribi Gorge which makes a spectacular contrast to the beachfront. This reserve is a spectacular vista of the south coast hinterland. This is the centre piece of the scenic , highly popular reserve. Bizarre rock formations, waterfalls, campsites, birdwatching and accommodation are just some of the reserve's attraction. This reserve is the most beautiful mother nature i have ever seen. I can smell and enjoy the beauty of nature. The edge of Gorgr has been turned into an extreme adventure hotspot with the highest abseil at 110 metres alongside a waterfall. we finishing the day at the Ukhahlamba Drankensberg, this region is about the beauty of the mountain range and town set up in its foothills. this attractions are good for adventureous tourists and wild tourists.... read more

Hi all, hope you are all well, here we are still enjoying the outdoors and putting up with the funny weather, some real hot summer days and then storms, but all is well.We recieved our new tent and am verry happy with it. We are staying here at Mac nicolls till the end of the of the month and then to salt rock carravan park for a week , then we are off on a well deserved holliday to Mauritius for a week, as some of you know we were planning on attending our caravan clubs nagm in Bloemfontein but due to a mixup with our flights we will no longer be able to do that. Hi All, we have started our migration south again as the middle of the winter has gone, not tthat we had much of that up here in KZN. Well we are now at Mac Nicols caravan park at Bazley beach just south of Scottburgh, this park has won the best park award in the past and it is not diffycult to see why, realy the besr park we have been to, the park is owned by caravaners themselves and thay know exactly what needs to be done to keep campers happy, when we arrived at our site after booking in there were already 4 staff members waiting to put up our tent and then a lady arived with tea, good stuf Mac Nicols. We had our first sea break away in years. The boys are still small and the sand and sea is one big sandpit for them! Adventurer 5 is a bit weary of the sea but plays around in the wet sand close to the edge of the water. Whereas Adventurer 4 will just go all the way in! We stayed at the Peace Haven Self Catering Units. Very comfortable and neat place. Not fancy, but budget friendly location. It is on the beach with a few restaurants walking distance away. Take aways and restaurant food is not a happy option for us, so a Spar was just around the corner as well to stock up on fresh foods and snacks every day.
