the best method of learning about south african human's every day life is to visit a township hence i also took some time to do so. i am a young capetonian of 23 years, yesterday i arrived back at home from a week long tour to durban, umlazi township.

this is the third biggest township in south africa and an oldest township in kwazulu natal. this tour to the place has help me succesfully bond with my history and other african brothers and sisters, it has also taugh some african zulu dance as i visited many cultural events.

I was ammazed when i visited maGumede in P section, the ordest women in south africa at 114 years, and she told me some facinating historical stories cooked for use and welcomed all those that were on tour with use into her home for the day, during that one week i also took part in some sporting activities and visited king zwelithini stadium a stadium that has a lot of history behind it

a day before i departed for my home town, i visited kwa Max Lifestyle a favourite upmarket chill out spot for the locals which also played an integral part in enhancing my expirience of the township

oh man!!!!!! what a place.
