This afternoon Paul and I went to the local botanical gardens for a quick visit. There wasn't anything interesting to see at the hide, so we walked around the garden. I spotted a tortoise and we watched it as it walked towards us and then through the grass.
On our way out of the gardens we stopped in at the hide again in case some birds had appeared. We sat here for a little while and watched a male Southern Yellow Masked Weaver hang from its nest and make some adjustments to it with its beak.
