We had an early start today, with our pick up scheduled for 7am. The van was a little late, and then went to another spot to pick up more people, where we ended up waiting for over an hour. Finally we collected up our group of 18 (about half from Portugal, then Italians, French, Americans and us Canadians) and headed out. We had a long day of driving. I love to travel! I spent my early 20s wandering the world teaching scuba diving, and ended up settling on the beautiful island of Roatan, Honduras. That's now home base, and I have a hostel there, so I'm surrounded by travelers even when I'm not away. Now that my kids are grown, I have more opportunities to stretch my wings again, so I'm planning on taking trips during the slower times at my business.... full info
