Sorry, yes, I am still alive- just in an area where it´s reasonably difficult to access the internet on a regular basis- but I got Sophie´s (presume it was Soph, sounded like her) rather alarmed text the other day and realised that it´s actually been a while since I checked in and let you guys know that I´m safe, so I thought I would just, you know, do that.

I am here, and this is now. All other matters are open to debate. ...Actually, when you think about it, that's just stupid. But if you don't, it sounds cool and kinda meaningful in a Mayan Prophecy sort of way, so I'll just leave it at that. This web-blog thing also wants me to post a self-portrait. I assume by that it means a good old fashioned photograph, because canvases make me look fat. Anyway, I'd love to oblige and be a lovable narcissist (after all, that's what mobile phone cameras are FOR), but I simply can't find a good picture.
