Welcome to my travel blog!
Recently, I travelled through Southeast Asia with my brother Remi (for his Norwegian MSN Space, click here). Starting in Singapore on 5 February 2007, we made our way through Malaysia, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, and Vietnam, before returning from Hong Kong on 13 March 2007.

It was quite hot on board, probably around 35 degrees.
To the west
Being part of the African Rift Valley, there are small mountains dropping straight into the water and only very small beaches on the Malawian coast west of the lake.
Small town
Arriving at one of the many small towns along the coast was evidently a great happening for the locals.
Kids in canoe
When arriving in towns, kids often came paddling out in their homemade canoes to sell stuff.
Trading at sea
Carefully balancing in their canoes, the kids had to stretch up to exchange mangoes for money.
