After a catching a few hours sun inbetween the typhoons and Vic having a diving lesson we decided to get out and explore a little more, and in true Matt n Vic style decided on a 2000km trip around Kenya through Tsavo East and West and into Amboseli, Lake Nakuru, Masai Mara, Serengetti national parks, and then onto Nairobi, come on bring it on...

We arrived in Amboseli at around 14.30pm after a 9 hour drive, and wow just on the way to the tented camp we saw in abundance giraffes, wilderbeast, wart hogs, gazelles, monkeys, elephants, and birds with so many colours it was unbelievable. Once we arrived at the tented camp we were greeted with a much welcomed hot flannel and cold drink. The camp was amazing situated right in the middle of the savannah and the tents were kitted out with showers and king size beds, we quickly had a freshen up before we set out on our first game drive. WOW again... we saw cheetahs, lions, herds of elephants and wilderbeast, and Matt got to see his first Henry (Hippo) which he has been going on about for ages. He now has another animal noise to

Matt could not believe he saw Henry on the first day of the Safari
his collection. We could not believe how close up to the animals we got and when we opened our tent we were greeted with a massive hello from Mount Kilamanjaro, oh yeah and a perverted monkey on the roof of the tent looking through the mosquito net at Matt in the shower (probably thought it was his long lost brother), WOW again...

We had a lovely meal and a few drinks around the camp fire before another game drive early in the morning and a long drive to Lake Nakuru, wonder what awaits us there????
