Rainbow just after sunrise
View from our back door at 6.30am Monday morning just after the rain had stopped. Hi all - forgot to get to the point of the story about meeting the boys on the beach the other day. Wanted to tell you their names. Not Sunshine Emergency Department strange, but amusing all the same. One was called Friday, and two were called Alex (they are brothers). Brigid is laughing at me and telling me that they have two mothers, which they do, but they have one father and I think it's a little odd to have two children of the same name. Anyway, here are some photos of them.
Kiswahili lessons start tomorrow. Stay tuned. Kx
PS It bucketed non-stop for at least 8 hours today. Guess the wet season is in full force
PPS Have been watching Kenyan music videos and South African soap operas with the owner of our guesthouse over dinner. It is a bizarre truth that soaps and the people in them are the same the world over....

Sparkling white sand
Pretty nice looking beach, eh? Actually, the sand was so reflective and the sun so bright that it was really hard to keep your eyes open without sunglasses on. Lucky I had them with me, eh Joey?! hard work even in the cooler part of the day because of the heat.
PPPPS Happy Anzac Day

Water please
KHDH, Next time it rains can you please collect some water and send it over. The footy oval at Poowong needs it. Isn't it ironic that a third world country has torrential rains and yet we in the "first world" are in a drought.
