Jambo Rafiki,

well hello. just a very quick blog to let you know that we have arrived safely in Kilifi and are settling in. will update you in a couple of days, once Katherine gets her computer sorted at work. We are in an internet cafe-type place now, but it takes about 25 minutes for each page to load, so i might leave it at letting you know we're safe and well and really really ridiculously goodlooking.

It is so nice to see that you are well and happy. I think you are simply ridiculously silly rather than anything else. We have moved house, been burgled and Sam has a girly friend all in the last little while. You don't look very African from your picture. I do expect national dress and beaded hair in the next one. are you saying i'm not good looking?? so offended. i may not look african, but i look very angelic, don't i? well they don't seem to wear beads over here, but i'll see what i can do with the rest. i assume if you've moved house that the building has started. how's it going? also what happened with burglary? i know about sam's 'girly friend', if it's still gen..although he's a bit of a ladies man so it could be someone new! tell him i am missing him terribly. :)
