Ghana Blog Week 9 2019
James Town Festival Wall of Art Week 9 Monday, today Justice didn’t go to work, as it was raining when he woke up, so he decided not too go, which is good for me, as I can spend the day with him.
In, the afternoon me and Justice went to collect our African wear. We went to my tailor first and lucky for me she has finished sewing my two skirts and my dress, they look so beautiful. After, collecting my clothes we went to the fabric shop to get more fabric, but the shop was unfortunately closed. So, then we walked to Justice’s tailor and well he hasn’t even started sewing Justice’s shirt in fact the tailor had forgotten were he had put Justice’s fabric, Justice wasn’t happy at all.
After, we finished at Justice’s tailor we went to the ice cream shop, so I can buy 25 ice creams 10 strawberry yogurt, 10 chocolate and 5 fan ices.
When, me and Justice finally made it back home after I got sunburnt all over my face, Justice wanted me to do him a fashion show which was fun, as I love modelling.

Me and Justice at the James Town Festival That evening me and Justice finished watching the movie from yesterday and once we finished that movie, we watched another movie, which I got bored when watching it, however Justice loved it.
Tuesday, today I spent the whole afternoon typing up last weeks blog. Once, I was finished typing I then completed my university personal statement. When, I finished with everything that’s when Justice finally came home.
That, evening I spent an hour giving motivation advice to Justice. However, Justice promised to go on a walk with me, but as it was chucking it down with rain, we both decided it was best if we didn’t.
Wednesday, today at 5:30 AM I was trying to get Justice ready for work, but Justice was too tired to even open his eyes, so I left him too sleep.
When, me and Justice finally got ready that morning we went tout to get food. So, Justice got kenkey, whilst I got mocha and biscuit. Whilst, Justice was eating his kenkey I decided to try some, before I never liked it, but too our surprise I really liked it. After, we

At the slavery dungeons in the castle in James Town finally finished eating me and Justice went to sleep for four hours before we decided to go out.
That, evening me and Justice went to see if Justice’s shirt is finally finished and it actually was, so Justice was very happy. At, Justice’s tailors place a mother was caning her child, but when she saw me, she paused, as she didn’t want to scare me.
After, collecting Justice’s shirt me and Justice went to the fabric shop and today she was open. So, Justice was able to buy himself some new fabric, whilst I tried to not look for any, as I shouldn’t buy no more.
Thursday, today Justice went to work, so for the whole afternoon I was able to wash my clothes. The problem was I wasn’t just washing one week’s worth of clothes, but actually it was two week’s worth of clothes. Altogether, it took me one and a half hours to complete. Whilst, I was drying my clothes the builders of next door wouldn’t stop watching me it was very annoying, as I didn’t understand why they need to watch me. I wasn’t able to finish drying my clothes, so I left the ones left in the bag, so that when Justice gets home, he can help me and deal with them.
Friday, today Justice went to work only for the morning, as there is an event at his work place taking place this evening. So, at 2 in the afternoon Justice came home and we spent the rest of the afternoon sleeping, as we have a long night ahead of us.
So, at 6:30 PM we woke up and got ready for the event. Me and Justice wore the same outfits, as we wanted to be extra cute. Once, we got to the vent there was a live band playing and there was lots of people. Once, Justice had sat me down he got up and went dancing in which I didn’t want to watch him too much, his dancing is too funny. All of a sudden, my favourite type of music came on and I was straight up dancing with Justice’s girl workers, everyone was very happy and surprised to see me dancing, as I am a very shy person.
Saturday, for the whole day me and Justice spent it indoors watching movies, as we didn’t really want to go outside, as we didn’t have anything planned. However, in the evening me and Justice went out, as Justice wanted to get his hair and beard shaved. Once, we got to Justice’s barbers, the barber greeted me saying ‘my favourite wife’, I simply just laughed, as it was so cute. I don’t honestly know why justice goes to the barbers he looks exactly the same before and after.
Once, Justice was done at the barbers we bumped into Nico which wasn’t planned at all and we were talking to him about Tamale, as Nico has just come back. When, we were done talking to Nico me and Justice walked to his sisters Eunice place, as Justice wanted Francis to download more movies onto the memory stick, so that me and Justice have more movies too watch.
Sunday, today is Church day! However, in the morning it was tipping down with rain, but lucky for us when me and Justice was leaving for Church the rain actually stopped.
Church, today was really good, as three different tribes were dancing at the beginning, which I loved watching all of the different African wear. Once, Church was over the rain started pouring again, so me and Justice quickly made our way home.
That, afternoon we went to the orphanage too donate some stuff, that we were suppose to donate earlier on in the summer, but we kind of forgot too.
After, donating at the orphanage me and Justice went too James Town Festival! The festival was amazing, so many colourful paintings everywhere people dressing up and a big concert. At, the festival we came across one of Justice’s workers, so for most of the afternoon she was walking with us. When she finally left us me and Justice went to a castle that we went too last year. At, the castle it was free to go in and there were black and white people acting out the slavery, because the castle was a slavery castle. After, the castle me and Justice went to watch some of the concert, but we didn’t stay too long, as both of our bodies were hurting too much, so we just headed home and brought some kenkey to eat.
Week 9 completed this week properly was one of my favourites, because the James Town Festival was amazing, so let’s see how week 10 goes, as it will be my last full week in Ghana, which is very sad.
