If I were a songwriter I would write a song about “Everyone Needs a Little Tenderness.” I am sure there are songs about that but this would be reserved for those most in need. I would dedicate it to the Eritrean Unaccompanied Refugee Minors (URMs) living in Ethiopia. When this families parents died the oldest (the young lady) took in her two little brothers and have raised them. The boys work in the restaurant and go to school. They do their best with so little. We were proud to become their friends.

Our friend Shegitu was listening to the girls story of how 18 of them left the camp, went into Somolia, were in a bus crash and only half of them survived and brought back to the camp. Tragedy after tragedy for some of these children...

ITHM is growing
