Airplane, Submarine & HelicopterThese were carved onto the temple walls, how could ancient Egyptians have known of these future vehicles (if this is what they were, could be coincidental)?
AbydosAlmost every inch of Aydos is sculpted and once was colored
Luxor TempleWe arrived at 9:30, the temple was lit up, and everything in it is in giant proportions
Luxor TempleModern Luxor grew out of the ruins of Thebes which was once the capital of ancient Egypt's New Kingdom (1550-1069 BC)
SakkaraKing Zoser's "Step Pyramid", the earliest of the major pyramids (the sand was blowing so hard I had my eyes closed during most of this visit)
Sphinx At SunriseX-ray equipment recently identified a chamber existing underneath the right paw.
Sphinx Various theories exist as to the original purpose of the Sphinx. Current estimates are that it may be 15,000 years old.
