The first day in Luxor

Today, we awoke heinously early, in order to catch our 7:45 flight from Cairo to Luxor. In case you don’t know what heinously early is, that is 5:45. In the morning. We left for the airport, and arrived early enough to have to wait an hour and a half for the flight. In that time, we had breakfast, and chatted about our lives, and, invariably, politics. Born to be Wild

My Dad and I will be traveling through the near and middle east from November 8th to December 15th. Perhaps there should be some really important purpose to the trip, but mainly it is to learn more about the world, have fun, help me learn World History first hand, and explore the political situations in each country. We both love to travel, and to immerse our selves in the cultures and environments of our destinations.
