Warlords. Rape. Murder. Just a few words to summarize the struggles of Congo. Companies around the world get their Tantalum from congo to produce cell phones, and they get this from warlords. these warlords rape, mutilate, abuse, and force canabalism on the citizens of the Congo. These citizens are used to mine the ore that is in tantalum for cell phones. The warlords get all the money and the workers see none of it. People that have heard what has been going on have protested against apple to make sure that they dont get their materials from money hungry war lords. Many companies say that they dont have materials from war lords, but thats just what their manufacturers say. People want to make sure that they didnt cause bloodshed because they want the iPhone 5S.
