We drove 300k north west close to the Zimbabwe border to Kasane on very straight roads through extremely remote scrubland which has a fairly large population of Elephants and other animals but we didn’t see any of them.
When we stopped for coffee there was a young woman sitting there in the shade of a tree. We offered her a cup which she gladly accepted choosing two spoons of Nescafe and four of sugar. It turned out her name was Malebo and she was having a rest from her work cutting thatching material.
