Hunters Road, Botwana
Getting the tyres ready for some 4x4 on Hunters Road For our December holiday 2011 last year we decided to travel trough Botswana with 4x4's. We were four couples going toghether and this was the first time for me ever doing something like this, at first I was scared going, not because I'm afraid of camping (I grew up camping) but it's an outside country and I have heard all this wild stories about Botswana, never thinking that I would fall inlove doing this kind of adventurious trips.
We planned a 3 week trip starting in Louis Trichard South Africa and ending next to the Limpopo River near Groblersbrug Border post.
We slept over in some forest in Louis Trrichard the first night and went to Mapungubwe where we slept for 2 nights, we traveled through the Tuli block, Francistown, Nata, Kasane (there we went to the Victoria Falls for a day trip and walked to the Zambia border post just to get a Zambia stamp in our passports 😉 ), Chobe (where we went on a boat cruise, and the Elephants came tooooooo close to our tents), Maun (our campsites looked out over the okavango delta) and we ended up at a game ranch next to the limpopo

I would have to write a book if I had to describe the whole trip to you in detail, but in short it was the most amazing, adventurious trip I have ever been on and it defnitaly took me out of my comfort zone, I would go back any time!
