Day 1

Beyond words is my excitement for this up coming trip. Beyond words. We watched a promo video today of the company and I had shivers throughout and found tears almost welling up behind my eyes. Honestly.

Everyone is incredibly nice here, no divas or cliques. It's the most amazing feeling being in a room of 50 some people, all of whom actually want to be there. I've running off adrenaline all day as I've gotten very little sleep the past couple nights- monday night- packing and cleaning and stressing, last night- the most uncomfortable matress in the world. I think the floor would actually be softer. The days are long, today we went from 9:30 to 9, breaking only for lunch and dinner. The rest of the week will be the same. I used to think it was hard learning blocking for one character.... now we are expected to memorize it (including the dance numbers) for all the characters- up to 57 kids.

This entire experience so far has been so unreal. I have to keep reminding myself that it's a job. Not school, not summer camp. It's like, "Wait I get paid for this?!" And I'm slowly coming to the realization that I'm an actor. A real professional actor. Oh and an adult. Keep forgetting that. Wow.

It's been raining non-stop which while I dont mind, I'd love to see the Montana sky. Missoula is in a valley and surround by hills. It's gorgeous. I'll have to take pictures sometime soon.

I've discovered my room does have internet so I should be online a little bit more now. But I do think it's time for bed. Hopefully once I get on the road and have more time, these entries will be less scatter and better put together. But for now, my brain is on overload, trying to take this all in. And thus crazy random entries. =D
