We spent 7 days driving around southern spain.
We landed in Sevilla, where we cruised along the river, visited La Giralda and saw a Bull Fight, the ticket said not to take camera - but everyone had theirs so unfortunately no photos from us :-( (not that i would post gruesome photos but you know what I mean...)
We then picked up our hire car and headed down to Granada to sample the fantastic tapas. In Plaza del Norte you can find this tiny tapas bar, which with every drink you are given a free mini burger and chips or a mini kebab and chips, and with the fantatsic mojitos they serve you do not even need to go out for dinner... The other best tapas bar is opposite the other one on the street south of Plaza del Norte where we went on our second night, we ordered a selection of meats and cheeses and a bottle of red wine, the place was fantastic, a quaint wine cellar looking bar serving fantastic food and wines - we highly recommend this place. Of course the highlight of the trip was the Alhambra (it is even better the second time
around) not to be missed.
We next headed down to the costa del sol surrounded by brits and germans... to our fully inclusive hotel (not a huge choice of cocktail but enough for me ;-) ) On the second to last day we drove down to Gibraltar. The rock of Gibraltar is more exciting than I thought although I was not so happy when the monkeys where jumping all over the tour van and then Kieran...

We missed the Alhambra!
I can't believe we went to Granada and did not get to see the Alhambra! But then it was raining....
