Langkawi offered us a little taste of paradise and some truly memorable moments - from watching the sun set on a golden sandy beach surrounded by tiny tropical islands to riding the world's longest single-cable cable car - it was all brilliant. There's an international airport on the island so I'm sure we'll be back!

Tiny Vehicles No: 9
Time for the next installment in our series on the world's tiniest vehicles. Here's our little hire car - I tried to lie on the bonnet but it was just too small!

It does exactly what it says on the tin!

Going Up
It's hard to see but the ascent in the cabe car was seriously steep. The views were amazing all the way.

Suspended in the Sky
The suspension bridge at the top of the cable car ride was incredible. Do not be fooled by my calm body language - it was scarily high up there!

Suspension Bridge
Here's the bridge as viewed from above. It was all hanging from that blue pillar in the middle!

View From the Top
From the viewing platforms at the top of the cable car you could see for miles. They say you can even see into Thailand on a clear day but as you can see, it wasn't the best of weather for us!

Giant Eagle
This massive eagle statue, the symbol of Langkawi, dominates the harbour. If you look closely, you might just be able to see Glynn waving his arms about just underneath the stone base of the eagle.
