The NZ sleepervan
I bet you wouldnt even see Frodo and Gollum travelling around Middle Earth in one of these.Good news today as Donna finally got news that she was going to be officially made redundant. Its only taken us three years to get this notice and we had to put our lives on hold for the same amount of time. You would think that being made redundant is a bad thing but for us the news was very welcome. It means that there is no going back and the only way forward involves us renting our house and getting onto the plane. Does anyone want to rent a house in Nottingham?
We also got our round the world tickets last week which made things seem a bit more real. Flipping heck the ticket books are thick!! Just hope they dont add too much to our baggage allowance. We currently have 14 people (parents, friends and other family) subscribed to our blog and this list is growing. Our blog has already been viewed 140 times even though we haven't started the actual travel sections yet. We were surprised recently to see that unknown people with exotic sounding names had signed up to our blog too. Whoever you are...hello :o) Maybe these
Rio apartment
From our internet searches we noticed that Brazil is pricey to say the least. You certainly get less for your buck than anywhere else in S. America. So this is the best we could do. people are other travellers who are interested in the places which we are going to visit but Neil is convinced they could be internet stalkers. Okay Neil...ease off on the vodka.
We have now got an apartment booked for £15 per night in Copacabana, Rio with some dodgy sounding bloke...Mastifico or someone. It has a kitchen and stuff and looks quite nice. We also got an apartment booked in Buones Aires for our time in Argentina at £8 a night with another dodgy sounding person called Maurino..looks lovely. Also as we are going to be in New Zealand for Christmas and so booked a sleepervan in advance. Unfortunately the prices of rentals quadruple at this time of the year and they take the p*ss with extra charges. This means that rather than us getting a luxury van with a toilet and shower, we get what looks like a converted citroen picasso with a sink stuck in the boot. Oh well should be an experience!
Just need to book our place on the inca trail and we will be erm....sorted....???

Not a Stalker, lol
Hi, I just subscribed to your blog today, but to ease Neils worries I'm not a stalker. I just thought your blog was pretty funny and it would be nice to get ideas on places to visit or not (as soon as I'm done with my schooling and get that internet job, of course. By the way I thought your list on the front page was hilarious.
