Yesterday (Bus Trip)-

Yesterday we went on a 7 and a half hour to cover 240 K bus trip. after the trip we decide it was a bad idea to catch the bus. So we had to wake up early in the morning again and obviously i had to be feeling sick but anyway. So we firstly hopped on the mini bus that took us to our bus stop. From the bus stop we caught our bus. The bus was air conditioned so that was a good thing. Oh sorry i have not mentioned we were going to Phnom Penh. On the way to our fist stop there was so much to see we saw these really old villages were poor people lived in and we saw the Tong Lae Sap river. That was the good thing about catching the bus. Then we stopped at 2 stops and had drinks. Then we went all the way to Phnom Penh. When we arrived my first though was, wow its so poor! We got to our hotel and had a swim. That was our day.

Today (Exploring)-

So today we went on a small tour. First we stopped at Toul Sleng museum. It has a lot of history behind it. There is lots of sad and horrible history behind it actually. So i will give you a brief explanation of what this museum was about. Pol Pots was a dictator in charge of Cambodia. He tourtured people and killed people if they were not farmers and if they were smart. Pretty much he killed people for no reason including kids. He wanted everyone to be farmers. The museum showed the rooms he tourtured people in for no reason they also showed the tools he would use. They also showed photos of victims that were killed. If you would really like to find out more about pol Pots and how bad he was i recommend to search him up. Just be aware some of the photos of what he did and history of him is quite scary. After the museum we went to the central market. The central market is a big market that sells all kind of things from Clothes to food. we bought a few things there including a mother day present for my mum. Next we drove along the Tong Le Sap river. That was quite pretty to see. Then we had lunch at a nice restaurant. After lunch my brothers and dad headed off to see Cambodian boxing while me and my mum did some exploring of shops. Well wasn't that fun! Me and my mum also went to a cafe that supported street kids and a shop that supported street kids. We then headed back to our hotel to go in the pool. My brothers came and joined me and my mum in the pool. We then went out for dinner. The place we went to you could see out onto the road and all of the sudden traffic was crazy and there was police with shields and big things of pepper spray coming through. We asked our waiter what was happening and he said "because we have been having democracy problems here a group of people more than 10 people are protesting, and the law here is you can not protest with more than 10 people in Cambodia, so all the police were coming to break the protesting up". That was very interesting. After about 30 mins everything was cleared up "thankfully".
