10 Days and counting. However, at the time of writing this entry, there are political problems in Thailand. Bangkok National Security Council spokesperson announced today that they may declare a state of emergency in and around Bangkok. Selfishly of course, I can't help but hope the situation is resolved before we arrive.
Fortunately, our itinerary takes us straight from Bangkok Airport to Pak Chong, a 2-hour drive away from the troubles, to the outskirts of Thailand's third largest National Park in the North East district of Nakhon Ratchasima. We make our way back to Bangkok on 7th February, where we are booked to stay at a little old B&B called the The Old Bangkok Inn. According to the city map, just around the corner from the Democracy Monument and several Government buildings/offices. At this moment in time, maybe not the best choice!<strong style="font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: small; line-height: 15.600000381469727px;">
Needless to say, we're taking an active interest in any developments.
