Photo Credit: LSWe are in the final days before our Christmas Holiday! Today at school we had a Christmas lunch hosted for both teachers and staff. It was a great time to forget about report card writing and the final tasks that must be done before the holidays begin. Followed by lunch the Junior School got together and we revealed who each other’s secret Santa’s were. This has been going on for the past two weeks. I was pleased to get a CD I’ve been wanting!
This past Saturday afternoon/night there was another Christmas party. It was hosted for everyone living in the two apartment buildings which the school places singles and young couples to live. Again, it was a nice break from all the business! The Christmas party was a progressive one – starting off with Christmas karaoke and then to different apartments all on the same floor open to different things featuring: Photo booth, a Christmas movie, cookie decorating, and, of course, lots of good food! Just like any other holiday so far, without the usual weather to remind you of the time of year, it’s easy to forget Christmas is so soon!

Photo Credit: LSThailand trip planning has been a little stressful at times….however, it’s all booked, the itinerary is made and all the documents have been printed off!!! It’ll be my first Christmas spent away from family. It’ll certainly be a different experience but one I am definitely looking forward to! We’ll be hitting all the major attractions for the first week starting in Bangkok, then Chiang Mai and Phuket. From Phuket we’re Island hopping for about a week…..Thailand – here I come!

Dear Janice, Wishing you a very Merry Christmas and a Blessed New Year! Not sure if you get this before or after you go to Thailand. I pray it's a wonderful time. I pray for safety and adventure. Looking forward to your stories and pictures.
