We woke up from sleeping in the giant beds in Adare to walking down for another complementary 'Irish Breakfast' There were so many options to choose from so we stuffed ourselves just incase our lunch was very late. We then walked main street of Adare which was a typical thatched roof town. The houses had little shops in them which were very cute and original. Most seemed like they were made locally compared to a chain store. We even found the perfect irish stereotype confiming how much they really drink. Inside of one pub we found 19 kegs waiting to be picked up by the garbage from the night before. We then went to the manor in Adare which Danika and I had to joke that it was no big deal, it's just a manor. We even compared it to our Harlaxton Manor saying ours was better. The Adare Manor was amazing but we weren't able to see much of it.

We left Adare and took a long drive to the Cliffs of Moher. This is on the west coast of the country side overlooking the ocean. The drive there we went up a winding road leading to the cliffs top able to look out to more of the ocean. We also passed a difficult golf course full of hundreds of rolling hills one after another. We finally were able to reach the top of the cliffs where we began to walk through the visitors center to get to the other side. We went to the right side to follow the steps and safe path that Ireland established for the tourist. We took a bunch of pictures and were just in awe of the beauty. The fun soon began we could walk off the path and right along the edge to look as different parts of the cliffs. Dad and I even went lower to take pictures while mom said on a different path much further than the edge. It was definitely worth walking on the edge and taking pictures of the super blue water and green land. We stayed here for an easy 3 hours before we realized it was 3 pm and we should probably eat some lunch.

We went down to the anchor pub for Danika and I since our sorority symbol is the anchor. Unfortunately we left the site without taking a picture. We ate some amazing fish and chips and clams. The meal was delicious but unfortunately we had to hurry to get back on the road to head to Dublin. We had a three hour drive ahead of us and we hoped to be on the highway before it was dark again. It took a while but we arrived in Dublin at the same hotel we had the first night. Once we arrived and settled back into the hotel room we went out for shopping to get the typical tourist souvenirs. It was really cool to see Hennessy written everywhere and very hard not to buy everything.

After shopping we walked past our hotel and to the famous temple bar. Here instead of getting dinner we decided to all order each a slice of either cake, pie, or cheesecake along with their Irish coffee. The coffee was a little strong for Danika and I to drink but it was delicious. When we went back to the hotel there was an Irish musician playing in the bar downstairs that we sat at to listen and enjoy the music. Music and beer is everywhere in the culture but it was an amazing experience. I absolutely loved Ireland and to be able to share it with Danika and my parents was amazing. We were able to really experience Ireland to the fullest and travel across the country. I am ready for my nest trip to Ireland!

Enjoyed your blog on Ireland. We are planning a 2 week+ trip there next September. Renting a car (not sure we are eagerly anticipating driving there) and seeing the country. Wondered if you could share where you stayed in Dublin. (Assuming you thought it to be a good place to stay.) Thanks. Happy travels.

We really loved it especially for the price. Really close to temple bar area. Everything was walking distance. Short drive from the airport also.
