Snails, snails everywhere snails

The French would never starve here. I have never been anyplace where there are so many snails. These are not just little snails, these fellows and gals grow to be BIG snails. You gotta be careful on the sidewalks here and on the 48 infamous steps leading from the lower campus level to the upper level. If you don't watch suddenly you will hear a nasty crunching noise and there it is, sidewalk snail pizza. Yuck. Messy on the bottoms of your shoes also.

However I must admit the snails are much more attractive than the slugs we have at home.
