Day 13

Our day started by picking up our bag lunches at the host motel. Today started our tours, destination Bryce Canyon for a total of 153 miles. Now we know why they call it the Canyon Lands Tour. We will let the pictures tell the story of our day. On the way back to Kanab we did encounter another thunder and lightning storm, this one was a short one. We were prepared, we put the curtains on the car before the rain and some small hail fell.

Beautiful pictures -
What breathtaking pictures of the canyon and area. I wish we were there. Sorry to have missed such a wonderful tour. Have fun - elevations are pretty high. Hope it isn't too hot. We have a reprieve from the hot and humid 90+ degree weather. Finally getting rain today. Enjoy the trip.

Hi Jacque, I was the one talking to Steve in your picture. I wish I had known about your route down the Pacific Coast Highway thru Huntington Beach, you drove right by my house! We have the maroon and black 1912 Torpedo. Hope to see you in Eureka Springs soon but after such a trip as you just completed you deserve a long rest! Thanks for posting such interesting reading and great pictures! Gene Carrothers Surf City
